Challenge
Vision ESG needed a platform that could handle complex environmental, social, and governance datasets while staying fast and legible for ESG experts and newcomers alike. Real-time tracking and reporting, without sacrificing clarity for the sake of features.
Solution
We built a fully responsive dashboard with interactive data visualization that updates in real time, designed for scalability and security from the start. The harder call wasn't the tech stack; it was agreeing what version one wouldn't try to do yet, so the platform could actually ship instead of chasing completeness.
Result
Organizations using the platform can monitor sustainability metrics, generate reports on demand, and make ESG decisions with data they can trust to be current, built on a foundation that has room to grow rather than needing a rebuild at the next stage.
What we'd do differently
We let the scope grow more than we should have before drawing the version-one line. Cutting it earlier would have meant a faster first release, and a clearer sense, sooner, of what actually mattered to users versus what we assumed would.
